Smallprint
Smallprint (franchising) Ltd creates silver jewellery keepsakes, unique items of jewellery hand-crafted in fine silver. The range includes pendants, charms, cufflinks and key rings. Each item is hand finished with high quality sterling silver findings to provide customers with a piece of jewellery which is beautiful, bespoke and unique to their child or loved one.
Smallprint was created by Mija Pykett in Bristol in 2004; it soon obvious that a UK wide presence would be required to satisfy demand. Their franchise network was launched in 2006 both in the UK and abroad. Despite a large national and international presence, Smallprint retains a local company ethos, striving to maintain an excellent and very personal service to all their customers due to the nature of the products they are creating and the sentimental value these items hold.
Barking Mad Ltd is a home-based franchise business in the pet care sector. Founded in 2000, the business model provides ‘home from home holidays’ for dogs.
Barking Mad arranges for customers’ dogs to stay with ‘host families’ whilst they are away. They offer a highly personalised service to ensure that both pet and owner are comfortable during the separation by offering face to face meetings for both owner and dog with the representative from Barking Mad before selecting the correct ‘host family’ for the duration of the animal’s stay.
The service also includes a door-to-door transportation service, around the clock care and, in some cases, a short stay in advance of the main booking.
