Fatou helps children to ‘Stretch N Grow’ in East Manchester

IMAG0999Harpurhey resident Fatou bah Denton has launched a new Stretch-n-Grow franchise to cover the East Manchester area, offering health and fitness classes for pre-school aged children.
Her successful launch has been the result of an incredible amount of hard work and dedication to secure funding and to prepare for the franchise, after being out of full-time work for 2 years.
Fatou is an experienced early childhood and health intervention professional, having spent a major part of her career in administration, customer care and early childhood services within the National Health Services (NHS) UK. Her new business will teach children the basics of proper exercise, nutrition, and related health issues and encourage a positive attitude at an early age. It is a franchise of the Stretch-n-Grow brand, an extremely well-reputed service within the industry. Fatou comments:

“As an organisation Stretch-n-Grow believes in the best, they believe in quality and are constantly improving and developing their programme, which resonates with me and my personal values.”

Fatou’s business launch is a result of joining the FranchisingWorks programme, which has supported her to identify the franchise, conduct due diligence and secure funding.

“FranchisingWorks has supported me from the start and has been very professional about my career. I have been supported on how to write my business plan, advice whilst I was doing my research on the business of my choice and finally to contact and deal with the franchisor…they are professional, friendly, honest and well equipped on how to help you set up a business.”

Fatou is now be offering the service to nurseries and pre-school groups throughout East Manchester and intends to employ her first member of staff within three months.
