A senior manager from the construction industry, Gary was made redundant in 2011 and after a period running his own consultancy business, Gary began to search for alternative routes to utilise his extensive skill base. Referred by his local Jobcentre, Gary sought support from the FranchisingWorks programme and began to explore opportunities in self-employment through franchising.

Keen to use his networking and relationship building skills, along with his excellent business acumen, Gary was introduced to the reputable business coaching franchise Business Doctors.

After months of research and planning, Gary was able to secure an investment of £11,450+VAT from the FranchisingWorks Licence Fund towards his business, which he used to leverage the remaining finance from Natwest.
