In their report ‘New finance for a new world’ the leading accountancy firm BDO cited the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities’ support for the FranchisingWorks programme as a good example of local councils working with social enterprises to leverage social investment and fresh thinking to design services which are relevant to local needs.
